        Ms. Simon attended law school at Southwestern University in Los Angeles and Kings College in London, Great Britain. She is admitted to practice law in all the Courts in the State of California.  She is also admitted to practice law in all of the Courts of the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern District Court of California, the District of Colorado, and the Eastern District of Michigan.

        In addition, on a case by case basis on more complicated cases or where the amount of money at issue is high, her clients have have had Ms. Simon become admitted on a pro hac vice basis (one time only basis) on various cases across the country.

        After graduating law school, Ms. Simon associated with law firms that represented financial institutions and businesses. While employed in other firms she handled general business and bankruptcy litigation.  She has been representing credit unions for more than twenty years. 

        Ms. Simon first became a member of a credit union more than 20 years ago.  She is a member of a number of Credit Unions.   Credit Unions are truly a wonderful financial resource.

        While representing credit unions, she became involved in the Credit Union Movement.  Ms. Simon has been an active supporter of the CU Movement ever since. Ms. Simon became so interested in the CU Movement that she volunteered to become active in a Credit Union, of which she is a member.  She was appointed to its Supervisory Committee. It was an experience which she treasures.  Although not required, she regularly attended the Credit Union's Board Meetings.  Her doing so was invaluable to her gaining a different perspective of Credit Union operations.   Her participating and making suggestions at the Board Meetings enabled her to be more effective on the Credit Union's Supervisory Committee and of greater assistance to her Credit Union. 

        Ms. Simon openned her own practice more than twenty years ago and had dedicate it to the Credit Union Movement.  Her firm represents a great number of Credit Unions.  Most of the Credit Union are in Southern California.  However, she has several regular Credit Union clients who are located across the country. 

        Ms. Simon has been a speaker for the California Credit Union League, California Credit union Collector's Council,  various California League Chapters, NAFCU, Los Angeles Bar Association and others, on topics ranging from operations, collections, bankruptcy, Regulation Z, Regulation B, Revised Article 9, Repossessions, Servicemenbers Relief Act of 1940, and similar topics. She has been a member of a Bankruptcy Study Group for years, under the Los Angeles Bar Association. It is made up of debtor and creditor attorneys and has given her a unique understanding of the other side. She has written several books, which cover topics such as when to file 1099Cs with the Internal Revenue Service, Credit Union Operations, Bankruptcy, Collections, Revised Article 9 Repossessions and Liquidations, Fair Debt Collections Practices Act, etc.  She has been a regular speaker for the California Credit Union League Anual Attorneys' Conference for many years on a wide range of topics.

        Working with Credit Unions has given her a great deal of personal satisfaction.
